Who we are

Cedar Psychology is a Melbourne-based telehealth practice dedicated to providing thoughtful, evidence-based psychological care to adults across Australia.

We believe that good therapy goes beyond symptom management. It creates space to understand yourself more deeply, including the patterns you carry, the relationships that shape you, and the experiences that have left their mark. With the right support, real and lasting change is possible.

We offer support for a wide range of concerns, including:

Depression · Anxiety · Panic · Trauma (single incident & complex) · OCD · Burnout · Relationship difficulties · Family violence · Perinatal mental health · Perimenopause & menopause · Life transitions

Natalie O'Connor | Clinical Psychologist

Natalie has worked in the field of mental health for over 15 years, across a range of clinical settings. Her approach is warm, unhurried, and collaborative by nature, taking time to understand not just what brings someone to therapy, but who they are and what has shaped them.

Natalie's practice is grounded in Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP), an active, emotion-focused approach that helps people connect with and move through emotional experiences that may be driving distress or holding them back. Utilising ISTDP, as well as Schema-based and Mindfulness approaches, the impact of early life experiences can be understood and integrated so that they no longer hold so much influence in daily life and in relationships.

Natalie is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Sessions are available by telehealth to clients across Australia.
